Mr. Morris has extensive civil trial experience in all areas of litigation, particularly complex construction litigation. He has handled approximately 200 construction defect claims and has appeared in almost every jurisdiction in California. He has successfully completed over twenty-eight (28) jury trials and he is responsible for shaping many current aspects of California's construction defect law. In addition to construction claims, he also handles a wide range of litigation involving product defect, personal injury and insurance related claims. He is a frequent lecturer and author on construction related topics ranging from WRAP insurance policies to indemnity and builder risk management. Shawn Morris received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Diego State University in 1985. In 1988, Shawn received his Juris Doctorate from the California Western School of Law where he served as the law school's lead articles editor. Mr. Morris is ranked "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible ranking an attorney may obtain. Mr. Morris is a member of the Building Industry Association (BIA), as well as the San Diego County and California State Bar Associations. Mr. Morris is licensed in California. |

Shawn Morris is the founder and managing partner of Morris & Sullivan LLP. As managing partner, Mr. Morris oversees the administration of the firm's San Diego office and the newly established office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
