Matthew Yarling, Associate

Matthew Yarling joined Morris, Sullivan & Lemkul as an associate in May 2008, practicing in the areas of business and real estate litigation, personal injury and elder abuse, construction defect, and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Yarling is licensed in Nevada as well as California, has tried cases before San Diego and Orange County courts, and has argued before the Fourth and Second District Courts of Appeal. Notable cases include Blackburn v. Brady (2004) 116 Cal.App.4th 670.

Prior to joining Morris, Sullivan & Lemkul, Mr. Yarling was an associate with Vivoli & Associates, where his practice focused primarily on business and real estate litigation, insurance coverage, and appeals. Prior to that time, he was an associate with the law firm of Oliva & McLeod, where his practice focused on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and appeals.

Matthew Yarling earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1993 from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997.

Mr. Yarling was admitted to the California Bar in 1997, was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2009, and is also licensed to practice before the United States District Courts in the Southern District of California and the District of Colorado.
